Senior Program Manager - SSD's

In this highly visible role, the Project Manager will be primarily responsible for successful product launches and qualifications with major OEM customers in server and storage markets. Other responsibilities include:

• Manage multiple programs and projects through cross-functional coordination to ensure prioritization is clearly communicated, schedules are visible and measurement of the on-time execution to meet deadlines and milestones
• Drives project schedules, facilitates resource prioritization and conflict resolution, monitors engineering change activities, and coordinates cross-functional dependencies
• Defines processes and methodologies to ensure maximum leverage of the organization and on-time completion of action items and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience with increasing responsibilities and a proven track record of success
• Strong understanding of storage development processes, product launch phases, production preparation and ramp planning, and project management skills
• A balanced approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, rapid growth environment
• Technical knowledge of storage market and OEM qualifications (SAS, SCSI, Fibre Channel)
• Strong customer and quality focus with experience building relationships for sustainable growth and outstanding customer relationships
• Excellent written/oral communication skills and problem solving techniques
• Domestic and international travel required
• Education: Minimum BS degree; MBA is a plus
• References from a major OEM customer or storage suppliers will be requested
• The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-oriented team player with enthusiasm for working in a start-up environment

Skills Required:
BSEE/CS plus 10 years of technical program management experience, and 3-5 years of technical development experience. Must be able travel and operate independently with minor supervision. Must have previous experience with product development/project development in the storage industry. Must know how to do risk management and abatements. Must have experience working with remote engineering centers.

Skills Desired:
Some business development experience and previous work in customer support
