Storage Sales Engineer – New
Summary:
Storage Sales Engineer is responsible for bridging customer IT imperatives into solutions that are consistent with our company's core offerings. He/she needs to have consultative selling skills and is comfortable with our solutions-based engagement model. Working in conjunction with Account Managers and other experts, he/she addresses customer technical needs and serve as customersÕ trusted technical advisor.
Essential Functions:
- Aligns with appropriate regional sales managers to represent our company's Solutions to all assigned accounts.
- Assesses customers needs and educate customers on our storage solutions
- Builds in-depth knowledge of clients' technical priorities, challenges and initiatives.
- Responsible for identifying product opportunities
- Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting technical resources.
- Builds relationships with the technical staff of the customers
- Responsible for supporting Product and Services Booking and Revenue targets within assigned sales territories.
- Responsible for developing and proposing technology solutions and services
- Ensures that proposed solutions when implemented meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
- Be responsible for Data Communication & Storage project implementation, which includes installation and testing, project management.
- Be responsible for Data Communication & Storage routine maintenance and Technical support.
- Be responsible for service related technical activities such as training and technical communication, etc.
Skills & Requirements:
- A university degree in telecommunications engineering, computer science or above.
- The certificate of CCNP/CCIE desirable
- Knowledgeable in broadband and data communication.
- Ability to work independently and to build up good customer relations.
- Good Communication skills and ability to work in teams.
- Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic
- Must be ready to work under pressure
- Over 5 years technical experience with storage & IT products
- Knowledgeable of both hardware and software aspects of the storage technology
- Great presentation skills.
